Eligibility:
You can open a Current account with us if you are:
  • Public or Private Limited Companies
  • Partnership Firms
  • Proprietorship Concerns
  • HUFs
  • Trusts
  • Clubs, Mandal and Associations

Officially Valid Documents:

(i) Passport, (ii) Driving license, (iii) PAN Card, (iv) Voter's Identity Card (v) NREGA Job Card  (vi) Letter issued by the UIDAI containing details of name, address and Aadhaar number.

2 latest passport size photographs and any one of the officially valid documents as Identity and Address proof

If the address on the document submitted for identity proof is same as that declared by him / her in the account opening form, the document may be accepted as a valid proof of address also.

  • Public or Private Limited Companies
    • Certificate of Incorporation and Commencement of Business
    • Certified true copy of Memorandum and Articles of Association
    • Certified Board resolution authorising the opening and operation of the account
    • PAN or GIR No. or completed Form 60. 
    • Any officially valid document identifying the authorized signatories and their addresses as given above

  • Partnership Firms
    • Partnership Deed and Registration Certificate
    • PAN or GIR No. or completed Form 60. 
    • Any officially valid document identifying the partners and authorized signatories and their addresses as given above

  • Proprietorship Concerns
    Any two documents from the following can suffice
    • Sales and/or Income tax returns
    • CST and/or VAT certificate
    • Certificate/Registration document issued by Sales Tax/Service Tax / Professional Tax authorities
    • Licence issued by the Registering authority like Certificate of Practice issued by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Institute of Cost Accountants of India, Institute of Company Secretaries of India, Indian Medical Council, Food and Drug Control Authorities, etc. 
    • Registration Certificate (in the case of a registered concern), 
    • Certificate/Licence issued by the Municipal authorities under Shop & Establishment Act 
    • IEC (Importer Exporter Code) issued to the proprietary concern by the office of DGFT
    • Utility bills such as electricity, water and landline telephone bills
    • Complete income tax return in name of the proprietor wherein the firm’s income is reflected. 

    • Trust & Foundation
      • Copy of the trust deed
      • Copy of the registration certificate
      • Copy of the resolution by the trustees authorising the members concerned to open and operate the account
      • Any officially valid document identifying the authorized signatories and their addresses as given above
      • Pan card

    • Clubs / Mandals / Associations
      • Copy of PAN
      • Bye-laws of the association or club
      • Certificate of Registration
      • Copy of the resolution by the Board authorizing the members concerned to open and operate the account
      • Any officially valid document identifying the authorized signatories and their addresses as given above

    Account Closure Charges:
    • If closed within 6 months Rs 500 +charges for unused cheque leaves at Rs 2 per leaf.
    • If closed within 1 year Rs 250 +charges for unused cheque leaf at Rs 2 per leaf.

    Unused cheque leave charges are applicable to all accounts which are closed
