SMS Banking brings the Banking at your fingertips. Bank has introduced the SMS Banking Facility for its customers. 


Under SMS Banking following facilities are offered to the customers.
  1. Welcome message on New Account Opening
  2. Latest Balance in the Account
  3. Details of the last 3 transactions in the account.
  4. Transaction Alert for all transactions through ATM/POS/E-Commerce and Net banking and other transactions above Rs 5000/-
  5. Alert for Sweep-In & Sweep-Out facility
  6. Alert for dispatch of Chequebook/Visa Debit Card

Balance of the account Send SBAL (Space) (15-digit Account No.) To 9223810000
Example - SBAL 043200100000124
After sending this SMS, balance of the account will be informed.
Last five transactions of account Send keyword as LST5 (Space) (15-digit Account No.) to 9223810000.
Example – LST5 043200100000124
Last five transactions conducted in the account will be informed by SMS.
Blocking of Specific Card Send keyword as BLOCK (space) (last four digits of the specific card number) to 9223810000
Example – BLOCK 1234
The specific card for which the request has been sent by the customer will get permanently blocked. Customer will have to apply for a fresh card.
Blocking of Multiple Cards (Permanent Block) Send keyword as BLOCK to 9223810000
Example – BLOCK
All the cards which are linked to the accounts of the same Customer Number will be permanently blocked. This option can be used by the customer when he/she does not remember his/her card number. Customer will have to apply for a fresh card.
Stop payment of cheque Send keyword as STOPCHQ (Space) (15-digit Account no) (Space) (Cheque No.) to 9223810000.
Example – STOPCHQ 126203100009999 12345
Cheque will be stopped and informed by SMS.
Unblocking of card Send keyword as UNLOCKCARD to 9223810000.  Example -  UNLOCKCARD                                                          ATM card will be unblocked & informed by SMS.
Linkage of Aadhaar Number Send keyword as AADHAAR<space>aadhaar number to 8828846224
Example - AADHAAR 46545177427
Aadhaar number will be updated in the system & the same will be informed to customers by SMS.
Activate/Reactivate Debit Card for Online /Ecom transactions Send keyword as ONLINE<space> last 4 digits of the Debit Card to 9223810000.                                    Example - ONLINE 1234 Card will be activated for Online/ Ecom transactions and informed by SMS

Kindly note the following points before sending an SMS:

  1. All the below-mentioned SMS requests should be sent through the registered mobile number only.
  2. The keywords are case-sensitive.
  3. Please do NOT type the pointed or square brackets in your SMS.
  4. There should be a single space between each word in the syntax.




 

*Charges:

  1. The SMS charges will be levied to customers quarterly on actual usage basis w.e.f. April 1, 2022.
  2. Bank will charge the SMS cost for digital and non-digital transactions SMS as follows
       - 25 paise/SMS, maximum Rs. 15 + GST per quarter for Savings Account
       - 25 paise/SMS, maximum Rs. 25 + GST per quarter for CA/ OD Account
  1. Accounts opened under PMJDY (SBPMJ scheme) will be exempted for SMS charges
